COCO is a cross-industry knowledge-based talent in the jewellery industry. She holds a Master's degree in e-commerce from Singapore and has 10 years of experience in the jewellery industry, with rich experience and knowledge from upstream diamond mining technology, midstream diamond rough sales, diamond polishing processing technology, and downstream jewellery production and sales technology.
"Before we design, we usually spend some time face-to-face with the client to see what they like, what they don't like, and understand their personal style. It all starts with a chat," COCO describes her working process. "We then translate each client’s ideas into various patterns and draw them in a sketchbook until we get the final perfect design.”
COCO says: “The frequency and extent of communication will vary with each client. Some clients like to be involved in every stage of production, while others like to wait for the final result. This is important to every client. It’s all about their own customize experience.
“I would discuss initial ideas for jewellery design with them, understand the client’s budget, and use these to guide me in finding suitable stones and concepts in early preparation.” In-depth research and full understanding of client needs are key to LC Jewellery, and also the main reason why LC Jewellery can stand out from the competition. For example, our most recent custom work is designing an engagement ring for a domestic client. The entire design process, from start to finish, is an exclusive, customised service. "Once production has started, I will communicate regularly with the customer to report on the progress of the production, or send photos of the production process according to the customer's wishes. However, I find that many customers prefer the surprise and pleasure of seeing the final product.
When customers come up with a design, they can often get inspiration from our ready-made designs. COCO said: "Customers want to keep a certain design, but change the gemstones set on it, or replace it with the customer's own gemstones. This is the advantage of private custom jewellery. You can choose the jewellery you like for design and production at any time."
